The 2004 MLB All Star game was played on July 13th, 2004 in Houston Texas at Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros. Hall of Fame shortstop Barry Larkin represented the Cincinnati Reds in '04 in his 12th and final All-Star game appearance. This lot features a one of a kind jersey that was worn by Larkin during the National League's batting practice session. What makes it unique is that Larkin had the jersey signed by almost all of his All-Star teammates. Some of the more prominent names include Albert Pujols, Barry Bonds, Tom Glavine, Jim Thome, Lance Berkman, Carlos Beltran, and of course Larkin himself. This white button down jersey features the "NATIONAL" word mark with a shooting star sewn on across the front chest in red on black twill. A Majestic Authentic tag is applied on to the lower left front tail. On the back of the jersey is his name “LARKIN” sewn on in red twill, and the #11 sewn on below in the same red on black twill as the logo on the front. A red, white, and black MLB logo is sewn on to the top of the back collar. The 2004 All-Star patch adorns the right sleeve and the Cincinnati Reds logo is adhered to the left sleeve.
