On July 21st, 2019, the New York Yankees faced the Colorado Rockies during a home game in the Bronx. In one inning of late play, Aroldis Chapman threw two strikeouts and allowed only one walk in one inning of work. This featured home white Yankees pinstripe jersey was worn by Chapman during that outing . The jersey features the iconic Yankees intertwined "NY" logo stitched in navy on to the front left chest of the jersey. A black memorial band is sewn around the left sleeve of the jersey in honor of Mel Stottlemeyer. The MLB 150 logo is stitched on and featured on the right sleeve. Chapman's #54 is sewn on to the back of the jersey in navy tackle twill below a navy/white/silver vinyl MLB logo that is sewn on to the top of the back collar. This jersey also carries the Majestic size 54 jock tag on the lower left front tail that is ironed on above the exclusive Yankees tag with bar code.
