During the late 1920's the New York Yankees formed what many baseball historians consider to be the greatest dynasty in the history of baseball. The nickname in particular was a representation of the first six batters that the Yankees used in 1927 causing opposing teams nightmares. The depth down the batting order of Earle Combs, Mark Koenig, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Bob Meusel, and Tony Lazzeri earned them the moniker of "Murderers' Row" by their owner Jacob Ruppert and General Manager Ed Barrow.

Presented in this lot is a true one of a kind piece of not just baseball, but American history. It's significance is worthy of display at museums world wide and of course Cooperstown. All the key sigs are full, and are not cut off or framed.
