The 1933 Yankees were a team loaded with legendary talent comprised of many future Hall of Famers. With the likes of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Bill Dickey, Joe Sewell, and Lefty Gomez to name a few, their roster was stacked. The star studded team would go on to finish with a 91-59 record but ultimately fall seven games short of winning the pennant to the Washington Senators.

Featured in this lot is a 1933 New York Yankees team signed ball. 20 players from the 1933 Yankees have signed this Ken-Wel College League ball including both Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. This museum worthy ball displays beautifully as Ruth's signature appears prominently on the ball's sweet spot in black pen. Gehrig signed the ball right above the Ken-Wel logo allowing for both legends signatures to appear on the same panel. Several other Hall of Famers have signed this ball including Lefty Gomez, Earle Combs, Joe Sewell, and Tony Lazzeri. There are 14 additional signatures including Yankees former owner Jacob Ruppert, Manager Joe McCarthy, Walter Brown, Jimmie Burke, George Pipgras, Russ Van Atta, Cy Moore, Lyn Lary, Bill Werber, Ben Chapman, Don Brennan, Dixie Walker, Dusty Cooke, and Ed Farrell.

Full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
